chatters!

I did what I should but I still get myself into trouble and eventually it will end up being my fault.
Maybe I am just not vigilant and smart enough.
Oh yes, I went to Batam yesterday with my colleagues.
Well, it is a day’s tour and I must comment it is not suitable for youngsters.
We visited two Chinese temples which I sincerely went to pray to every Buddha statue.
I was super excited when I finally saw a Confucius Temple (especially when I am taking a degree this year).
The seafood lunch provided sucks, the Bintan one was so much nicer.
We also went to the biggest shopping mall in Batam but if you are really into branded goods but you do not have to money to buy a real one, you can go there.
Almost every single shop there sells fake branded goods.
I bought a fake LV bag for my mum for 200,000 rupiah. HAHA
I had no choice; there was nothing to buy there except for their famous Kueh Lapis which is 150,000 rupiah and you MUST spend all your rupiah if you are not going to Indonesia anytime soon because every 5 years when they reelect their president, they will change their currency and the old ones will all expire. [Crap right? Haha.]
The thing that I like about this trip is I get to experience something different and an overseas trip with my friends is very memorable too.
I took a lot of pictures of the place there, Batam is still developing and the places where we went to are quite kampong and run-down.
So everything is very special and new to me.
I just hoped that I could really get off the bus and take more interesting pictures.
(Examples: their hair salon, their so called 7-eleven, their S$3500 bungalow, their so called San Francisco Bridge etc.)
The bus travels too fast so I could not capture the interesting things that I saw.
(Okay la, actually I admit I am a bit slow.)
These are the photos I took...
